Overview

Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:

Refunds

Sale items

Exchanges

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

Shipping returns

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

In 2017 and in the Congress of Deputies, Casualplay, together with other companies and institutions, public and private, all of them linked in some way to children’s road safety, founded AESVI, the Spanish Alliance for Children’s Road Safety.

With the premise of improving road safety for children, manufacturers and distributors of child restraint systems, automobile clubs, universities, pediatricians, emergency departments, the National Association of Midwives, the DGT, the Catalan Traffic Service, the Basque Country Traffic Directorate, consumers, the National Association of Child Safety, the CEAPA, the State security forces and bodies.

Commitment

AESVi is truly committed to improving the safety of children, with the following objectives:

  • Carry out informative campaigns to raise awareness about the need to carry children properly protected in the vehicle and be a forum where users can find answers to their doubts along with truthful information on children’s road safety.
  • To improve the training of professionals in charge of the sale of child restraint devices through their technical training.
  • To promote information to those responsible for the safety of minors.
  • Research and promote technical studies that improve safety and reduce the risk of children in vehicles.

Studies

During these years AESVI, with the active collaboration of Casualplay, has promoted studies and research that have made it possible to advance and better understand the operation and use of child restraint systems. The following two stand out:

– “Effects of the use and ageing of child restraint systems”, in which the results showed a notable deterioration in the protection capacity against the impact of second-hand CRS, generating situations of very high risk for the user. This study is a benchmark for the Ministry of Consumer Affairs in the prohibition of the sale of second-hand child restraint systems incompatible with current approval regulations: ECE R129 / i-Size.

– “Risks of direct online purchase of Child Restraint Systems”, making it clear that none of the CRS purchased on non-EU sales platforms could have been approved in their current conditions.

Play, S.A. offers a legal guarantee of 3 years from the date of delivery, in accordance with the provisions of Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, of 16 November, which approves the revised text of the General Law for the Defence of Consumers and Users.

In the event of a defective product, PLAY S.A. will proceed, as appropriate, to repair or replace it.

9.- CONTRACT WITH PLAY AND ACCEPTANCE OF ORDERS

The content on our website is an invitation to do business. Until your order is accepted by us (even if it has already been charged to your account) no contract will exist between you and us. If your order is not accepted and we have already charged you, the amount will be refunded in full.

After clicking on “I confirm my order” you will receive an email as an acknowledgement of receipt. In any case, we undertake to inform you and if we have already charged you the amount of the order, we will proceed to refund the amount you have advanced.

10.- WITHDRAWAL FROM THE CONTRACT

The user will have fourteen (14) days from the delivery of the contracted products to withdraw from the contract. You will be refunded the amount for such Play products, including delivery costs, in accordance with our Return Policy. Under no circumstances will we refund your shipping costs.

The right of withdrawal will apply as long as the Play products are returned in the same condition in which you received them, together with their complete original packaging, labels and together with any accessories related to them.

We will determine if the Play products are in the same condition in which they were shipped to you. e) Right of withdrawal and return policy

Once the Play product or products have been chosen, the user must add to the bag included on the website, indicating the units they wish to purchase. Once the chosen Playmarket products have been incorporated into the shopping bag, the user will be able to access the summary of the purchase that must be accepted by clicking on the “Confirm” key, where the following information is detailed:

Play products are shipped through:

• Courier company TRANSAHER and SZENDEX.

Currently it can be purchased in https://play.es from any country as long as the country of delivery is Spain or Potugal.

Orders will be sent to the delivery address you have given us in your form, so it is important that you pay attention when filling in the delivery address details. We will not be held responsible in the event of incorrect or incomplete delivery address.

For security reasons, Play will not ship any orders to PO boxes or military bases except for those to the Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla, nor will Play accept any orders where it is not possible to identify the recipient of the order and their address.

If you choose PayPal as your payment method, once the order has been placed, it is not allowed to make any type of change to the shipping address, as PayPal requires that the shipment be made to the address registered with them.

14.- PROBLEMS IN DELIVERY

You must notify Play of non-receipt of orders for more than 10 business days.

If we are unable to deliver, the courier company will contact you again to arrange a new delivery date.

When your order is delivered to you, you must check that everything is in accordance with what you requested. 15.- TRANSFER OF RISK AND OWNERSHIP

The user acquires ownership of the Play products at the time they receive the shipping confirmation and the product leaves the warehouse. Responsibility for Play products will be transferred to the user at the time of delivery of the order placed.

16.- CURRENCY, TAXES AND FORM OF PAYMENT

17.- RETURN POLICY

Play products must be returned in the same condition in which you received them, together with their complete original packaging, labels and together with any accessories related to them. The customer will be responsible for proving that the items have been returned so we recommend that they are always sent by a system that certifies delivery for their safety. We will not be liable for loss, delay or misdirected shipment of any product you wish to return to us.

If your return does not comply with the stipulated terms, you will not be entitled to receive any refund and we will send you the Play products with freight collected.

If the recipient of Play products is different from the person who made the payment, the money will be refunded to the person who made the payment.

Returned Play products must be shipped in a single delivery. We reserve the right not to accept Playmarket products that belong to a single order, returned and delivered at different times. Once we verify that the Play products you return to us meet all the specifications of the Return Policy, we will send you an email informing you that the return has been accepted. Whatever payment system you use, the refund will be implemented as soon as possible.

You will be responsible for the costs of returning the product and in no event will we accept returns sent with freight collected. Under no circumstances will we refund your shipping costs.

18.- RETURNS OF DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS

If you receive an incorrect order or defective product, please contact us as soon as possible, at the following email address: informacion@play.es, indicating the error or defect together with your personal data. The deadline for making the return is 30 days.

In the event of problems with the packaging, you must notify the courier company at the time of receipt of the order.

Since the beginning of the popularization of the car in our country, we have been at the side of families to offer solutions that allow children to travel safely and comfortably.

Pioneers, more than forty years ago carrying out the first crash tests and obtaining the first approvals in Europe for child seats, we continue with that spirit to create the most innovative systems in child safety.

Crash test and homologation

Today, for the development of our seats, we work with independent laboratories in different countries and they are approved according to the rigorous United Nations Regulation ECE-R129 (i-Size), a standard that has transformed child safety by introducing new control and testing requirements, as well as facilitating a better installation and use of child restraint systems. and offer more complete and effective protection in various accident scenarios.

The following are the key aspects of the Regulations that currently guarantee the safety of children in the vehicle:

Side Impact Tests: It includes side impact tests, which are crucial as a significant percentage of serious accidents involve side collisions, along with front, rear impact and rollover tests. The protection is total, 360º.

Advanced Mannequin-Based Assessment: It uses Q-series dummies, which provide more accurate data on the forces to which different parts of the child’s body are subjected, thus improving the assessment of safety in multiple crash scenarios.

Classification by Height: The seats are rated according to the child’s height, which is more intuitive for parents and ensures that the restraint systems are better suited to the child’s morphology at different stages of growth.

Extension of Rear-facing Use: Requires children to travel in a rear-facing position until at least 15 months of age. This position is significantly safer in the event of a head-on collision, better protecting the child’s head, neck, and spine.

Simplified and Safer Installation: Restraint systems are designed to be easier to install correctly, minimizing the likelihood of user error.

Vehicle Compatibility: i-Size seats are designed to be compatible with any i-Size seat in vehicles, simplifying the selection and installation of seats for parents.
