The ISOFIX is a fast, safe and simple anchoring system for fitting child safety devices in vehicle seats.
It consists two lower fittings in the child restraint system which protrude from the rear, and also includes a device that clearly indicates that they are fully connected to the ISOFIX anchor points of the vehicle's seat.
A vehicle's Isofix anchor points consist of a double cylindrical horizontal bar 6 mm in diameter, which protrudes from the structure of the vehicle or seat.
The ISOFIX system must be supplemented with an anti-rotation device - either an ISOFIX top tether or support leg.
